He attended the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities where he completed a triple major in international business, marketing and Spanish language and culture. During his time as a student, he spent a semester abroad in Spain and it was there he realized that he was destined for a life of frequent travel, living in other countries and dedication to breaking barriers for international business. Upon graduation from University, he returned to Spain where he lived and worked for three years and also spent time living in France and travelling to many different countries in Europe and North Africa. He returned to the United States to work for a technology company for five years, including a one year work assignment in Brazil, allowing him to travel extensively around South America and experience the richness and diversity in the different cultures there. Originally from Beijing, Peter spent his early years going to school in China and learning Chinese values while also finding he had a natural ability for learning languages. By the time he graduated from high school, his English was highly proficient and he decided to attend university at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities where he would go on to earn a degree in Economics with a minor in French. As a trilingual (Mandarin, English, French) recent graduate, Peter began his career working in corporate taxation to develop knowledge in the legal sector of business.
